NEWSPA Free Virtual Conference Sessions Available Now

The Northeastern Wisconsin Scholastic Press Association’s virtual spring conference featuring quick presentations from more than 30 journalism experts is now LIVE (virtually) and available. There is no cost, but you do need to register to get access to the sessions, which will be available for your use with your students any time between now and June 30. For more information or to register, visit the NEWSPA Virtual Conference Website.

This year’s virtual sessions are all fairly short and direct (about 10-15 minutes) to make it easy to incorporate into your other classwork. They also include presentations on a wide range of topics from a wide variety of experts (from USA Today, ESPN, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, UW-Oshkosh and more).

Registrations for NEWSPA’s newspaper contests are also due soon (March 1) and do involve a small fee per entry. Again, check out the NEWSPA website for more information or to register.
