Kate Edenborg

Kate Edenborg

Kate Edenborg is a college journalism and English professor at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, Wis. She helps advise fledgling Menomonie High School newspaper.  She's also been helping the campus and larger community have access to more local news through a variety of methods. These include finding funds to pay college students to write local content, training local citizens to write journalistically and helping establish a high school news outlet. Kate has previously advised two UW-Stout campus student publications. A former journalist (well, she still writes when she can), Kate has a Ph.D. in journalism and mass communication from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a BA in communication from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
