The Wisconsin State Assembly unanimously approved the New Voices Bill (AB 551) on Nov. 7. The legislation, aimed at fortifying freedom of expression within educational institutions, is now headed for the Wisconsin Senate. The Senate Committee on Universities and Revenue is set to conduct a public hearing on Dec. 5 at the Wisconsin State Capitol Building.
